PixAI is where a lot of anime fans land once they get serious about AI art. It’s big (PixAI claims more than 16 million registered creators and over 1.8 million community models and LoRAs), it’s built around anime, manga and illustration, and every account gets 10,000 free credits a day. For readers of this site, one rule matters more than all of that. PixAI lets you make explicit anime images, but nobody else can see them. Realistic explicit images aren’t allowed at all.
This first look is based on what PixAI publishes as of October 2026: the plans page, the membership guide, the payment FAQ, the content guidelines and the Terms. Think of it as me reading the fine print so you don’t have to.
What PixAI is
A browser-based image generator for anime styles, with iOS and Android apps on the side. You write a prompt, pick a model (one of PixAI’s own, like Tsubaki.3, or one from the community Model Market), stack LoRAs on top and generate. Like an image in the feed? One click reuses its setup.
Around the generator sits a busy community with rankings, trending tags and contests. It feels more like an anime art social network than a porn tool, and that explains a lot about the adult rules.
PixAI NSFW rules: what the adult side allows
Here’s what PixAI’s content guidelines (last modified April 16, 2026) say, minus the legal tone:
- Explicit anime images are allowed. First you confirm you’re over 18 in your content settings. Until you do, NSFW content can’t be generated.
- Only you can see them. In PixAI’s words, sensitive content “is only visible to you and cannot be accessed by others.” Sharing it on PixAI isn’t an option.
- Realistic explicit images are banned. Prompts with sensitive tags won’t run on realistic models, and realistic explicit images that get published are removed.
- Adults only. Every character in sexual content has to be an adult, drawn ones included, and PixAI terminates accounts that break that rule.
So, hentai for your own private folder: yes. Posting it, building a following on it or making photoreal porn: no. If that’s a deal-breaker, our AI hentai generator ranking has tools that play by different rules.
The features that matter
Turbo Mode
Free generations wait their turn. Paid plans get Turbo Mode, unlimited and at no extra cost, according to PixAI.
Video, up to 10 seconds
Members can animate a still or make a clip from text, up to 10 seconds long. Plus and Premium can switch on Enhance Mode, which PixAI says gives more detail and more fluid motion. Free accounts get no video.
Flow Edit
Describe a change in normal words (new background, different outfit, an extra prop) and Flow Edit makes it. It’s member-only, like Reference Pro.
PixAI pricing in 2026
These are the monthly prices on PixAI’s plans page, checked on October 3, 2026. Prices change, so look at the checkout before you pay.
| Plan | Price | Credits | Extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 10,000 a day | Community models; no Turbo, video or Flow Edit |
| Starter | $9.99 a month | 300,000 a month, plus 20% more daily credits | Unlimited Turbo, video, Flow Edit, 3 LoRA trainings a month |
| Plus | $29.99 a month | 1,000,000 a month, plus 100% more daily credits | Enhance Mode for video, 5 LoRA trainings a month |
| Premium | $49.99 a month | 2,000,000 a month, plus 200% more daily credits | Enhance Mode, up to 15 LoRAs per generation, 10 LoRA trainings a month |
Yearly plans exist, but PixAI’s own pages don’t agree on what they cost, so check the annual price at checkout. Unused credits roll over at renewal, members get 50% to 150% extra on credit top-ups, and the apps charge more than the website because of store fees. PixAI itself suggests subscribing on the web.
Is PixAI free?
Yes. Every account gets 10,000 credits a day, plus bonus credits for publishing work, getting likes, joining contests and finishing missions. How many pictures that buys, PixAI doesn’t say: credit use depends on the task and its settings, not a fixed price per image. Free leaves out Turbo Mode, video and Flow Edit.
Billing, refunds and who runs PixAI
On the web PixAI takes Visa, Mastercard, PayPay, Google Pay and convenience-store payments. Plans renew automatically (PayPay and GMO payments simply run out instead), you switch off auto-renewal from your profile, and perks last until the paid period ends.
Now the part worth reading twice. The Terms say all purchases are final and non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise, and the payment FAQ says PixAI “generally does not offer refunds after a payment is completed.” Picked the annual plan by mistake? You can’t switch it to monthly. Upgrading between monthly plans charges the new plan’s full price on the spot and restarts your cycle, and there are no downgrades: you cancel, wait for the plan to end, then buy the cheaper one.
The Terms name Troph Limited, a Hong Kong company, as the site’s operator. The About page says PixAI is built and operated by Mewtant in the US and its Japanese entity, Metanomaly Inc.
What to watch out for
- No refunds once a payment goes through, and no switching an annual plan to monthly.
- Yearly prices differ between PixAI’s own pages. Trust the checkout.
- You can’t change the card on an auto-renewing plan: cancel, let it expire, subscribe again. Web purchases come without invoices.
- The apps cost more than the website.
Who PixAI is for, and who should skip it
It’s for anime fans who like control: over a million models and LoRAs to mix, LoRAs of your own to train, a free plan you can actually use, and explicit pictures kept to yourself.
Skip it if you want realistic porn, want to post your NSFW work, or get nervous about a strict no-refund policy. Same if you just want to type “hot elf” and get porn back. Even PixAI’s own blog admits there’s a real learning curve for newcomers.
PixAI alternatives
OurDream AI is the one I’d look at if you want your hentai to move for longer. It has anime styles and hentai categories, new accounts get 10 free images, and videos run up to 60 seconds at 100 DreamCoins per 5 seconds. Premium is $19.99 a month, or $9.99 a month on the yearly plan.
CreatePorn goes the other way from PixAI’s private-only setup. It’s an AI porn and hentai site you can browse, GIFs included, with a generator that hands out daily free gems. Plans start at $14.99 a month, or $9.99 a month on a prepaid year, and there’s a $1 two-day trial.
Verdict
On paper, PixAI is about as complete as anime image tools get, and 10,000 free credits a day make it painless to try. As a porn tool, it’s upfront about its limits: explicit anime, yes, for your eyes only; realistic explicit, never. If that deal works for you, start on the free plan and go monthly before you even think about a year, because the money doesn’t come back.
