If you want one AI girlfriend who does everything, OurDream AI is where I’d send you. You design her yourself, talk to her as long as you like, call her when typing isn’t enough, and ask for pictures or a video when the mood takes you. Most companion apps do two of those things well. OurDream does all of them in one place, under one coin system, and that coin system is the bit you’ll want to understand before you pay.
I rebuilt this review in October 2026 from OurDream’s own pages: the plans, the help center’s coin guide, the refund rules and the character creator. If something wasn’t there, it isn’t here either.
What OurDream AI actually is
OurDream calls itself an unlimited AI roleplay platform, and the unlimited part is about chat. On either paid plan, messages to any character are free; coins only come into it for pictures, video, calls and the smarter models. It runs in your browser at ourdream.ai and it’s made by Dream Studio USA, Inc.
You can build a girlfriend, a boyfriend or a trans companion, start a group chat with several characters, or skip building altogether and pick someone from the community library, which is enormous and very much 18+. Realistic and anime styles both get the full treatment, and the anime side has its own hentai categories.
Building her, step by step
The creator works in three steps, and it’s more detailed than the usual pick-a-face gallery:
- Her look. Realistic or anime first, then ethnicity, skin tone, eye color, hair, body type and so on.
- Her personality. Preset traits or a personality you write yourself, plus a voice, a job, interests and a backstory.
- The relationship. Anything from someone you’ve just met to a full-on partner. It’s the starting point for whatever story you play out.
Want to describe her appearance in your own words instead of using presets? Custom appearance prompts are a premium feature. You can still play with the creator on a free account, which is a decent way to find out whether you’d use it at all.
Chat, memory and the smarter models
This is where OurDream is generous. Standard chat costs nothing on a paid plan, however much you talk. The Genius and Lively Genius models, the thoughtful ones, charge one DreamCoin per reply, so I’d keep them for the scenes that deserve them rather than leaving them on all night.
Memory is the other selling point. Premium gives you pinned memories, custom instructions and state trackers that keep tabs on where your story is. OurDream is upfront that replies draw on her profile and the conversation context, and that she won’t necessarily recall every detail, which I find refreshingly honest. Pinned memories are for the things she really mustn’t forget. And if English isn’t your first language, ask her to switch; she’ll get there within a few messages.
Pictures, videos and voice calls
Pictures
A standard image run costs 10 DreamCoins and gives you two pictures. One she sends you mid-chat costs 5. Enhancing a picture is another 10, and editing one is 10 or 20 coins depending on the model you pick.
Videos up to a minute
Here’s the headline act. Standard video costs 100 DreamCoins for every five seconds and runs up to 60 seconds, so a full minute is 1,200 coins. Ultra quality is a flat 200 coins a video, and sound adds 20 coins per second of audio, which means a minute with sound comes to 2,400. Short clips are cheap enough to play with. A full minute with audio is more of a birthday present.
Voice calls
Calls are 50 DreamCoins a minute. Spend a whole month’s Premium coins on nothing else and that’s twenty minutes on the phone with her, so I’d treat calls as a treat, not a habit.
Is OurDream AI free?
Only just. A free account gets 55 DreamCoins once, and every message costs one, so you’re looking at a first date rather than a trial month. The help center is also clear that pictures and videos need a subscription, and you can’t top up coins without one either. Free is for meeting the characters and poking around the creator. The good stuff is paid.

Both paid plans include unlimited standard chat, plus pictures, video and voice calls paid for in coins. Deluxe unlocks the premium chat models and triples the chat memory. Unused coins don’t expire.
What 1,000 DreamCoins buys if you spend them on one thing only:
- about 200 standard pictures
- 50 seconds of standard video
- 20 minutes of voice calls
Nobody spends them like that, of course. If you’re staying, the yearly Premium plan is the obvious buy: half the monthly price and 2,000 coins on day one. OurDream also tries out different yearly offers on some visitors, so your checkout might show a promo that isn’t in this table.
Billing, refunds and privacy
You pay by card or crypto. There’s no PayPal, and if your card keeps getting declined, the help center suggests buying a code through G2A instead. Cancelling takes a click on your profile, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Refunds are limited. Nothing once you’ve used more than 25% of a purchase, monthly plans aren’t refunded once the coins are gone, yearly plans may get a full or partial refund, and crypto payments can’t be refunded at all.
On privacy, OurDream says chats are end-to-end encrypted and that even the company can’t read them. Worth knowing before you build up a collection: if your subscription lapses, your pictures and videos blur until you subscribe again. Download your favorites.
What I’d watch out for
- The free plan is 55 coins, one per message, with no pictures or video.
- Video eats coins. One full minute costs more than a month of Premium coins.
- The Genius models charge a coin per reply, even on Premium.
- OurDream admits its content filter is a bit too sensitive right now and can flag safe content, because its payment providers want it strict.
- It’s a web app. There’s nothing to download from an app store, though you can pin it to your phone’s home screen.
Who OurDream AI suits
It’s for people who want one companion for everything: long chats she partly remembers, voice, pictures and proper video, not five-second loops. It’s also great fun if you like building things. Few apps let you shape a character this far, right down to how your relationship started. Skip it if you only want free chat, or if you’d rather watch AI porn than direct it.
Alternatives to OurDream AI
Candy AI is the cheaper way in, from $3.99 a month on the 12-month plan. Chat, pictures, video, voice calls and live cams share one app, and its Candy Shorts are episodic AI series where the first two episodes of each are free.

Verdict
OurDream AI is the app I’d pick if I wanted a single companion to do it all. Unlimited chat on any paid plan, memory tools that genuinely help, voice calls, and videos up to a minute long, all built around a character you designed yourself. The coins deserve respect, because video and calls add up and the free plan is only a taste. On the yearly Premium plan at $9.99 a month, though, it’s excellent value for a daily habit, and it earns its place near the top of our rankings.
