Ninety tokens, and the 54 that pay for a name
This dinner invitation costs 90 tokens to see through: three paid episodes at 30 apiece, the top per-episode rate on Candy Shorts and one only its 10 licensed series carry. Most five-episode stories here, the ones with no famous name attached, wrap up at 36. So the real question is the 54-token gap, and whether Lexi Luna fills it.
Ryan, Kyle, and a kitchen that keeps calling
Ryan’s at this table because he had nowhere else to be for Thanksgiving, and Kyle, a decent best friend, wasn’t going to let him spend it alone. So he’s a guest at somebody else’s family holiday: the one person in the house with every reason to be grateful and no excuse to misbehave. I love that irony.
The rest is floor plan. The game is on in the living room and the men are parked in front of it, Kyle included. The kitchen belongs to Kyle’s mother, Lexi Luna in licensed form, who’s cooking the big meal and keeps summoning Ryan away from the screen. He doesn’t wander in. He gets sent for.
A holiday dinner also comes with its own timer, since sooner or later the food has to reach the table. The two free episodes lay all of that out before anything is shown.
Is there nudity in Thanksgiving With My Best Friend’s Mom?
Not in the part that costs nothing. Both free episodes trade on the risk of being alone with your best friend’s mother while he sits in the next room, and they never go past suggestion. The explicit material starts at episode 3, the same moment the first 30-token charge lands. Treat the free pair as a preview of the setup and the likeness, not of the paid three.
Lexi Luna in Thanksgiving With My Best Friend’s Mom
Her name is on this series by agreement. She’s credited, her likeness is used under license, and the episodes are made with AI rather than filmed with her. It’s also, as of early October 2026, the only Candy Shorts series with her name on it. And that license is exactly why you pay 30 an episode instead of 12. Be honest about it: the extra tokens buy her likeness, not more story.
Not to be confused with My Best Friends Mom
The titles nearly collide, so here’s the difference. My Best Friends Mom asks 36 tokens for five episodes, ships the friend out of town while the hero housesits, and brings in a second woman, the mother’s own best friend. Thanksgiving keeps the friend home and one room away, which makes it the riskier setup and the simpler one.
Candy Shorts recycles these first names, too, a little comically. Madison: My Dad’s Best Friend’s Daughter has its own Ryan, and My Stepmom Is 22 has its own Kyle. Each costs 36 for five episodes, a cheaper door if the premium puts you off.
Who should pay the holiday premium
Pay it if Lexi Luna is why you clicked, since she’s the one thing here a 36-token title can’t give you, and if a friend in the next room does more for you than a friend out of town. If you’re shopping on premise alone, skip it. Ninety tokens gets you two regular five-episode series with 18 left over. And there’s no subscription trick: the price on the listing is what you pay.
